
Michelle’s Perfectly Boiled Quail Eggs
How to perfectly boil quail eggs. They're the perfect car or bento box lunch snack!
Equipment
- 1 2.5 quart or larger stock pot with lid
- 1 colander
Ingredients
- 24 each quail eggs
- 6 cups water
Instructions
- Fill stock pot with 6 cups (or more) of water.
- Place on highest burner setting until water comes to a rolling boil.
- Place eggs into colander and drop into the pot.
- Boil for 5 minutes.
- Pour the eggs and water back into the colander.
- Rinse with cold water.
- Peel and enjoy! Eat them plain with salt and pepper or make them into deviled eggs!
